We at East Yorkshire Honey Bees take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the products and services that you have requested from us.  This privacy notice informs you what personal information we collect when you visit our website and what we do with it.

If you place an order through the online shop or send us a question through the contact us page, you will need to enter your name and email address.  You will also be asked for company name, telephone number and postal address but these are not mandatory.

This information will only be used for us to respond to your request and/or process any order that you might place.

None of your information will be shared by us with other companies with the exception of Google Analytics which is used to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Our website is security scanned regularly to make your visit to our site as safe as possible and your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of people who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.  All monetary transactions are processed through a gateway provider ‘Stripe’ and are not stored or processed on our servers.

We do use cookies which are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognise your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping basket. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.
