DASH Assessment Passed!

22/05/2019  Great news!  We have just heard today that we have passed the assessment that we sat a couple of weeks ago at the National Bee Unit.  DASH is the Disease Assurance Scheme for Honeybees and is open to Bee Farmers accross the UK and there have only been 80 accreditations so far.

30/04/2019  Well... We have 2 days in the classroom ahead as we attend the National Bee Unit at Sand Hutton to learn how to successfully identify and manage diseases of honey bees.

First Spring Inspections

01/04/2019  Our first full hive inspections were carried out over this weekend.  It is great to see that the bees are starting to lay brood and build their numbers but, as the weather is due to be cooler over the next 2 weeks, we will not be opening them up again until the temperatures lift back up.

Over-wintered Colonies

03/03/2019  As of today all of our over-wintered colonies have now been reserved.

We will have more bees available with 2019 queens later in the season when the numbers have replenished.

Please still use the pre-order form in the online shop and we will update you as soon as we know when the next wave of colonies will be available for release.
